You and your manager will conduct monthly conversations around career development. The intention behind these meetings is to support you in your career journey by understanding your individual aspirations and strengths and by setting short and long terms goals. The ‘Learn yourself up’ budget can be used to fulfil these goals, in coordination with your direct manager.

In order to be prepared for these conversations, Please prepare the following inputs-

Clifton Strengths/ soft skills

Gallup’s Clifton Strengths is a self-assessment tool that generates a report of 34 strengths, ranked from top to bottom. The report sheds light on individual strengths and gives pragmatic tools to achieve high performance. This is what we use for career development conversations when covering soft skills.

For new members that wish to participate-

  1. Speak to your manager about receiving an access code for completing the assessment or follow this link to purchase a code and expense it.
  2. Once you have your report ready, upload it to the shared design drive, using this link
  3. Add your top 10 strengths on the team spreadsheet (full grid tab), using this link and also add your top 5 in your bio card
  4. Feel free to browse your team members’ reports in the same link
  5. Create your Career Development Miro board by DUPLICATING one of these templets- Career Dev_Product Design, Career_Dev_Visual Design (if the template doesn't align with your design discipline, please speak to @Navi)
  6. Fill in your top 10 strengths on the left side table on the Miro board
